This footage happened when Senator Kerry was having a question and answer period. I realize this footage does not shot the context or rules of this but I think the cops over reacted. If we can't asked questions of politicians for fear of gettng arrested, then what is this country coming to?

Eh...I see it as someone who tried to hijack the mike, turn it into his own political platform instead of a genuine Q&A, and the cops finally saying "OK, dude, you're DONE". Especially in the second video, it shows that he wasn't really interested so much in asking questions as he was trolling for a reaction. Dunno what reaction he was aiming for, but it sure didn't look like he was asking questions.
The follow up with the cops looked TO ME like they were just ESCORTING him away from the mike - "Sure, dude, you've had your fun, now please step away from the mike." HE is the one that escalated it, and I sincerely doubt they would've cuffed OR tased him if he'd just shut his yap and gone away from the mike.
He got cuffed, then tased, for acting like an ass and kicking up a fuss. He acted for all the world like someone who went in TRYING to get attention. His fussing honestly looked staged - as soon as they *touched* him he started shrieking "what are you arresting me for!!!!" Nah. Normal people don't do that.
I think my first assessment was wrong and this guy was an ass and wanting the reaction. not the first time I am wrong neither will it be the last.
